Have you ever found yourself sitting in a meeting listening to what is being said, and thinking…”sounds good – but something feels wrong”?
It may be what is being said is so smooth that it feels like someone is setting the entire stage. It could be that what is being said is in conflict with all prior actions – so you just don’t trust it. But people around you are falling for it. So what do you do? Stop, Look and Listen Stop buying what is being said at face value…what is really personal to the person giving the spiel? Is it control, position or power…what is personal to them – what feeds them, what do they protect at all cost. Look at the actions that they are trying to put into place…is it so they can protect what is personal to them? Listen to your inner voice. Be wise, be thoughtful and most of all don’t be naive.
