We all get fearful at times.  How people move thru the fear varies.  Which category do you fall into?

Quick stop…aggressive restart – this is the individual who feels fear…it may or may not stop them.  Their stop may be a minor hesitation.  They are the ones who hesitate less than the group…and when they reengage it is with passion.

They dig deep, and with a renewed intensity they move forward.  Some may view them as fearless…it is just they have identified that movement forward is more important than the fear…and that allowing fear to stop them or bog them down isn’t positive.   Crisis doesn’t shut them down.   The downside…it may or may not be the best approach with the best outcome, however because they are good at stops/restarts – the tough outcomes won’t have them stalled for long.

Fear and reflection – this is the person that identifies fears, weighs the outcome, comes up with a variety of responses…they may or may not take action forward.   Reason and reflection are their go to tools.   The pros and cons – is the speed of adjustment and action.

Fear and the banging noise – this is the person that gets shut down by fear.   They may find it difficult to adjust and would rather find a way around vs. dealing with the fear.   This may feel rather safe to them, however do they grow from the experience…or do they grow in wisdom from the experience?  The question is can you lead by shutting the doors around you?
