The title alone, makes a person reflect….am I?   Am I surrendering my leadership responsibility by letting others define it?  Could I simply not be taking the lead; by avoiding to taking action?   Have I let the leadership path become so muddy, that I’m not even sure of the direction?

Imagine….you’re very focused at work – you’re in the zone and you’re pumping out the work – and you love it – it is the gliding feeling…you’re proud of yourself.

As you start the New Year, do you commit to getting your annual check-ups?  Whether it is putting on the calendar your annual eye appointment, a health physical, or a sign-up for a new fitness class do you make a commitment to health?   The turning of the calendar for some is the ‘new start’ that helps you commit to a new page or a new habit.   What will be your leadership checkup for 2011?
