I received a sweatshirt from a dear friend. Printed on the front is “I love excel worksheets” – the joke is I love lists. I love keeping track of progress of goals, training schedules, long range plans – it really doesn’t matter what I keep track of. It is the power of the targets that I love, whether of dreams or the simple commitment of logging training schedule results. The excel sheets are my method of ‘reporting in’ my progress.

Do any of these traits sound like you?
1. I know what I want and how I want it done. 2. I just like things done a certain way, do I really have to adapt? 3. I know what I’m doing, but if the staff would just be patient… 4. My way is proven, why waste time and effort. 5. I just don’t trust we’ll get the end result I want with different approaches.
