What is causing you to get lost on your leadership journey?  Likely you'll find the answer in one of the five barriers.  Once you identify your personal barrier - you can start to break down that barrier to continue on your journey.  So what is your barrier?

Need – what you're doing right now seems to work ok.  You may not really be inspired to do anything different.

Timing – when you look at your calendar – it is hard to imagine finding the time to reflect, commit, and attempt to adjust your leadership skills.

Can you visualize that feeling of being totally comfortable?   For some, it may be their favorite jeans and sweater.  For others it is walking in the front door and having your dog meet you with a smile.   It may be walking outdoors and enjoying the sights, sounds and smells.  But we do know the feeling of comfort that washes over us.

When you decide to develop your leadership skills it is a lot like training for a race.

1.       You need to decide what you want to achieve.  ex:  Leadership position, leadership  action – clarity of expectations/focus, or a new leadership skill
