You can tell a lot about a person depth and grit by how they face imperfect times.  Those times when the best laid plan has a surprise ending; or takes an unexpected turn.

Do they crumble or do they quickly take stock and adjust?   I’d bet on the person that adjusts and stands tall and takes strides to move forward.   It may be that they have quickly realized to expect the unexpected.  Wisdom is learned in many ways – and those that take the learning out of the imperfect times; likely grasp a bit of wisdom from it.
