Can you visualize that feeling of being totally comfortable?   For some, it may be their favorite jeans and sweater.  For others it is walking in the front door and having your dog meet you with a smile.   It may be walking outdoors and enjoying the sights, sounds and smells.  But we do know the feeling of comfort that washes over us.

Leadership comfort is a bit different.  But it is about feeling calm, at peace and confident in your leadership.   It does require you to be living your core values and protecting them.   It is about using your strengths, and engaging with others to create the vision.

Think about this…An engaging leader is connected with her staff.  They know what she expects and they know she is honest and thinks about the future.  When her leadership is guiding – they follow…they celebrate wins and work hard to deliver results.  Her leadership has consistency…and it is ‘comforting’.  The tension doesn’t rise when she walks in…instead she is met with smiles.   They know when she is thrilled with results.    She demonstrates Leadership Comfort….for herself and her employees.

She may be just like the lighthouse....a beacon of hope and guiding light.
