My sister is a marathoner and likes to complete. Sometimes for the T-shirt, for her personal best, or to see how well she can do in her age bracket. I’ve watched her race a few times, and have always been amazed with how she plays her strengths in competitions. She is small, but very focused, and has a lot of endurance. Her credence is to always finish a race strong, and each timed I’ve watched her race; she’ll pass a runner at the end. I asked her about it one time, and she commented – that she focused on an individual in front of her, and sees if she can increase in speed just a bit and passes…again and again. Her focus is so clear to her, she doesn’t let self doubt enter her head…she doesn’t think that she’s only 5 feet tall, and 100 pounds, and that it is a gazelle in front of her. She visualizes what she wants…and makes consistent moves toward it. Coaching clients often have a competitive nature. They have a desire to improve, and are open to see how they can grow and adjust. Our promise is we’ll help you use your strengths, we may help you crystallize your vision, and help you find that inner focus that pushes you forward…each and every time. Confidence and grace – what a beautiful combination. |
