Can old dogs learn new tricks?

Yes – but they ‘gotta want a’.

-Running a 13.2 mile race for your first race at 49 years old
-First set of inline skates when 45, 2nd pair at 48…faster
-Skydiving when I was 30

-Chuck corporate life – to independent business owner 49
-Freestyle ice skating when 40….average age of group was 12-14.

Nuts – possibly, actually I’m quite cautious but not fearful. There is a huge difference. My girlfriends smile and anticipate who gets pulled along on the next adventure. I know that I love challenges, the game plan, and the execution.

I think it is the same for employees – whether they are 25 or 55 are they curious, are they open, can they visualize possibilities and solutions, do they see in terms of finding a pathway of movement toward the objectives? Key traits cans be timeless – knowing your own traits is reassuring and guiding. As an employer knowing your staff traits is critical and impactful.
