The title alone, makes a person reflect….am I?   Am I surrendering my leadership responsibility by letting others define it?  Could I simply not be taking the lead; by avoiding to taking action?   Have I let the leadership path become so muddy, that I’m not even sure of the direction?

…am I afraid to take action?

These are all soulful reflections.  The best of leaders have gotten side tracked, off course or stuck at times.  However, what they have learned is to recognize when they are off course and to take action.

The self doubt may be ok for reflection, but you need to get clarity and courage to move forward.  Fear will freeze movement forward and let others decide the course.

I love the phrase…you need to put on your big girl pants.   It sometimes just the push I need to take action and stop avoiding.
